CNK 10th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION TABLESCAPES | A RUFFLES AND BELLS EVENT
We were thrilled to be a part of our talented friends Cnk Catering 10th birthday celebrations, the super epic party that oozed fun!
In our second instalment of our ‘Cnk Catering 10th Birthday Celebrations’ we are taking a closer look at the table settings downstairs were a take on the four seasons; Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. We took inspiration from each of the seasons to create a tablescape that uses textural elements, colours and working in stationary, glassware and other styling elements. The Wool Mill such an incredible and beautiful venue was the perfect blank canvas, and we wanted to incorporate the wooden tables they had as a base.
We drew our creativeness from the cool summer breeze, we chose to create a palette of greys, greens, earthy and hints of white to replicate a minimalistic summer colour look. We used summer textural elements by using ratten placemats, dried silver palms as floral centrepieces to give off the summer feels. The sage green menu’s were balanced by the soft, linen napkins to tie all the elements together.
Our Autumnal tablescape was created by showcasing a palette of orange and blues, stunning shades of tangerine to burnt orange, balanced by the rising trend if cobalt blue. These colour choices were specific as they are trending and a beautiful way to bring warmth into the space. De-constructed florals, textural elements of linen, napkins and metallic cutlery balancing the autumnal look pops of glassware and fruit completed the look.
The winter tablescape showcases a very minimalistic palette of blacks and whites, we really used textural elements such as soil and sand to contrast against the softness of the florals for the winter feels. The florals were beautiful white roses, arranged in a wild de-constructed look, which complements the soil and sand. Black glassware, cutlery and sexy sleek black menus completed the wintery look.
To create the spring look we wanted to hero fresh greens as that’s what spring is to us. We stripped it to the bare minimum of having large concrete pots that showcased greenery on the table to create the ultimate fresh sustainable feel. The greenery was our simple and effective way to showcase freshness but also to add some drama and it created such beautiful height. We paired this with natural linens and gold cutlery to carry on the botanical vibe.
The incredible team at Micro Hire created strobe lights to highlight the table as a centerpiece to the space.
